While indexing strigi-daemon created a lot of zombie processes:
$ ps aux | grep "<defunct>" | wc -l
1035
All of them ware pdftotext and wvWare:
$ pstree | grep -C 1 strigi

Number of zombies growed fast and then daemon crushed with
SIGABRT...
