I hope these captures will be useful to you.
Hi, I had a look at the logs, but I couldn't discover anything out of the ordinary. I suggest you contact the upstream author of gnome-screensaver and see if he has any suggestions. I found an old bug similar to yours in the GNOME Bugzilla, I suggest you reopen it and add a description of this problem. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=330199 You could also try the experimental package of gnome-screensaver 2.16, but I think it requires an upgrade to GTK+ 2.10. http://packages.debian.org/experimental/gnome/gnome-screensaver > gnome-screensaver-preferences does run but the cosmos saver is blank, > the > others work as expected. I never tried the picture folder one. Does > that > setting do a slide show of the images in ~/pictues? I'll try that too. It uses ~/Pictures, but it can be changed if you edit /usr/share/applications/screensavers/personal-slideshow.desktop -- Cheers, Sven Arvidsson http://www.whiz.se PGP Key ID 760BDD22
