Package: torrentflux Version: 2.1-7 Severity: important
At least 10% of the time, a torrent will "fail" mysteriously when the queue manager attempts to start it. When this happens, the index.php page starts showing the torrent size as "0k". The torrent also still appears in the admin/queue section as "queued", even though the main page shows it as "failed". After this happens, the queue manager freezes... Any torrents that are already running are fine, but if you add any, they just sit at "queued" forever. A workaround to this problem is to go into Admin -> Queue, and click on the "Update Settings" button. When you do this, the queue manager seems to wake up and start processing torrents again. Once in awhile, the queue manager will actually *succeed* in picking up the previously failed torrent and start up as usual. However, more often than not, the torrent remains in a failed state, and must be "queued" and then "stopped" in order to remove it from the queue, so that other torrents can get a chance to run. A python traceback shows up in my apache error_log as well; I don't know if this is related: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/btphptornado.torrentflux", line 452, in ? run(argv[1],argv[2],argv[3],argv[4],argv[5:]) File "/usr/bin/btphptornado.torrentflux", line 388, in run h.failed() File "/usr/bin/btphptornado.torrentflux", line 119, in failed self.writeStatus() File "/usr/bin/btphptornado.torrentflux", line 279, in writeStatus raise KeyboardInterrupt KeyboardInterrupt Thanks, Tyler -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-3-686 Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
