Don't apologize, always contradict me if I'm wrong, but ..

This patch is not necessary to use binary codecs on AMD64, that's why we
did not merge it upstream.  IMO you should drop it from your package,
it's useless.

This is using drvc.so, not drv4.so as you claim!
