Actually, that's what I did initially, but very shortly afterwareds I
realized that my former Hurd install had apt lines pointing to my old
Pentium, which already has apache installed :-)

I would not mind, but please remember to change all the files in
/etc/crosshurd/sources.list, not just "gnu".
