Package: diction Version: 1.10~rc4-1 Severity: normal
I had this big text file that confused 'style'. Whittling down the big file produced: % echo "Um..." | style ; echo $? style: style.c:676: style: Assertion `length>=2' failed. Aborted 134 Yet if the string 'Um' is changed to something like 'Hey', it works. Further experiment shows the error requires: 1) a line ending with ellipsis, i.e. '...'. 2) immediately preceded a 2 char word. 3) The first letter of the 2 char word capitalized. Hope this helps... -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-2-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Versions of packages diction depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries diction recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
