:( Maybe it depends on what kind of applets are running? The common applets which I have on both desktops: - the default stuff you get (menus, clock, volukme, task switcher, notification area) - Workrave - GNOME wheather applet - window selector - several launch buttons - show desktop - system monitor - Netspeed As I said, I got the problem after a fresh install of etch (RC2), but I don't remember what applets I had installed at that time. > Can you send me the .gnome2/session file on this other host?
