I downloaded firefox 2.0.0.1 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
and unpacked the tar.gz-file into /usr/local/bin and run it by
'/usr/local/bin/firefox/firefox'

For starters that worked fine but at the last upgrade of iceweasel, the
dsn functionallity got blasted. Without any restart of anything.
