I am unable to reproduce the problem here: (gdb) run Starting program: /tmp/.bad/dlopen-test warning: Lowest section in system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000 is .hash at ffffe0b4 handle returned by dlopen is null Program exited normally. (gdb) Could you please retry with an up to date Etch system. Also what's the output of ldd ./dlopen-test? -- .''`.
