I am not sure what you are trying to tell, Norbert. For example, "Unicode input" is far from unique: Various actual encodings (UTF-8, UTF-16BE, UTF-16LE, UTF-32, ...), normalization (eg <รค> is equivalent to <a><combining_dieresis>), ... cheerio ralf
