Im' not speaking in Debian's name, but if you don't mind using an
experimental package (but successfully deployed by myself on site with
500 users and more than 10,000 mailboxes),  try the packages here :
http://www.pragmatic-source.com/Cyrus-Imapd-2-3-7-for-the-Linux. Please
note that migration from version 2.2 to 2.3 is *untested*.

The experimental Debian version is exactly the same, except for the
patch number 95 that I added, whose purpose is explained on my site.

Any feedback you may have will help us build the final 2.3 version faster.
