This is almost certainly not a bug in gcstar; gcstar is written in perl, so
any segfaults would be a bug in the interpreter or in whatever module is
crashing.

I can't reproduce this problem with a fresh install of gcstar.  Please
provide a backtrace of the crash using gdb.
