So current Debian gnucash works just fine with guile-1.6-slib version 1.6.8-6 and slib version 3a4-4. And the gnucash packages you are using are not Debian gnucash packages; I have no idea what they are or where they are from. This leaves me without any way to reproduce the failure. Can you provide me a clear test case which fails? Thomas
