Package: apt-get
Version: dpkg
Severity: important

Hi,

I got the cdrom for etch network install. Because of my installation, I
take care of the distro release via lsb_release -a.

So, I installed etch network install, then, did apt-get dist-upgrade
then looked at the lsb_release -a
and the distro was still written sarge and not etch with my sources.list
for etch.

Please after the apt-get dist-upgrade, could you make it possible to the
user to control via lsb_release -a the name of the distro.

Even if it is not a bug, this is an annoying problem that could be important
for user or admins of lot of PC.

Thank you very much,

Please I am looking forward it could be corrected.

Sincerely and thank you very much for improving Debian Etch to highly
stable
release, as good a Sarge !!

Patrick
