Package: php4-mysql Version: 4:4.3.10-9.lmc10 Severity: important I upgraded a box to the newest php4 and apache packages, and discovered that the apache-ssl initscript would hang. I found that reverting apache-ssl to the previous version didn't help, but backing off the php version to 4:4.3.10-8 did make the problem go away. A rebuild of -9 made the problem reappear. I backed out the changes from -9 until the problem went away.
Turns out, reverting back to the libmysqlclient10 build-dep makes the problem go away. I'm sure more information is needed to root cause this problem; let me know what you'd like to see. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: hppa (parisc64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-64 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages php4-mysql depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.30.11 Debian configuration management sy ii libapache-mod-php4 [php 4:4.3.10-9 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libmysqlclient10 3.23.56-2 LGPL-licensed client library for M ii php4-common 4:4.3.10-9 Common files for packages built fr -- debconf information: php4/extension_mysql_apache: true php4/add_extension: true php4/remove_extension: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
