To be clear, the _first_ R installation on both boxes was something like R 1.5, after that I did many, many R upgrades, since I am updating at least once a week lately. On both machines I started out with woody or earlier, so it might make sense to purge R, install R 1.5.1 from woody, and upgrade maybe to 2.0.1.2 (good guess for my last upgrade status before problem) and then to 2.0.1.4? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
