After install, the memory was added back and the system works fine. Partman turned the 9gb scsi disks into 915 MB ones when creating partitions. fdisk needed to relable the disks after install to get the space back. (fdisk error message will be reported there) Rebooting complained about missing /dev/sdb1, I needed to manualy modprobe ncr53c8xx to get it mounted. (Then used fdisk to fix the label.) I added ncr53c8xx and aic7xxx to /etc/modules to fix this problem. X still has bugs that I thought had been fixed long ago: xterm needs utf8 locale configured, and the stray semicolons need deleted from the include lines in the sun keymap. -- Blars Blarson [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.blars.org/blars.html With Microsoft, failure is not an option.
