Subject: /etc/init.d/ipsec stop doesn't work correctly
Package: openswan
Version: 1:2.4.6+dfsg.2-1
Severity: important
Hello,
I'm facing problems when trying to stop OpenSWAN service using
"/etc/init.d/ipsec stop" command. Apparently one _plutorun process
remains and starts everything back up.
If you try two times in a row fast enough you correctly get a message
that IPsec service doesn't run:
'ipsec_setup: Stopping Openswan IPsec...
ipsec_setup: stop ordered, but IPsec does not appear to be running!
ipsec_setup: doing cleanup anyway...'
However, a couple of seconds later
(the time the new process executes I imagine), you once again get the
following message 'ipsec_setup: Stopping Openswan IPsec...'
I think that's not a normal behaviour, therefore the report :).
