As there > were no issues, I'm closing it. There's a little issue, now that I think better: I don't remember seeing any question whatsoever regarding the hardware clock. I mean: the Debian Installer asked me to select a country and I chose Italy. Hence the timezone was correctly set to Rome/Paris (that, in winter, makes CET, or +0100, if you prefer). So far so good. But nothing asked me whether the hardware clock was in local time or UTC! It was silently assumed to be UTC, which, BTW, was I what I wanted it to be, but forgot to set accordingly in the BIOS configuration menu. The result was that the box had the hardware clock correctly set to local time (because I forgot to set it to UTC), but the installed system assumed it to be set to UTC and displayed times with a +1 hour error. I fixed the problem by setting the hardware clock to UTC in the BIOS configuration menu, as I wanted.
