That's the symptom, not the cause! I still insist, that the problem lies in QT4 handling of TTFs which contain embedded bitmap glyphs. Other applications don't have this problem. And for me as a font developer, there is not much I can do about this issue except to remove the bitmap glyphs from the font. And that won't happen! Because CJK users need them. So, please, if you have a problem with QT4, contact Trolltech about this issue and let them test. This is definitely not a font issue, but a library issue.
