Thanks a lot for the patch. I could apply the pdfdoc.c part without any
problems to the texlive sources. The configure part I simply dropped, I
guess this is not necessary as long as the stuff compiles.

I build new packages and will ask for testers. In case you use the
texlive debian packages, could you also test it?
