With Skim running applications randomly refuse to take input from the keyboard and have to be restarted to get them to work again. The biggest offender seems to be kopete, I'll be chatting away and out the blue the keyboard stops working. However I can input text into another application and manually paste it into the broken one. The only non-kde application this happens to is Skype (QT based?). With Skype it almost always happens if I'm in a chat with someone and something takes the window focus away from that chat i.e. a chat started by another Skype user.
