oops - hm, shouldn't libpaper take care of that? anyway, fig2dev uses same codes as enscript, gv understands [Aa]4, [Ll]etter etc. though gs knows only of a4,letter, ... OTOH textfmt/hylafax knows of A4,NA-LET,... And pdftops understands A4,letter,... but not a4,Letter,... What a mess. However, if hylafax uses labels in pagesizes (field 'Abbrev') to put into %s, then relabeling according to fig2dev/enscript/gv/gs(with uppercase 1st char) would allow use of %s for most common formats (ie those named in pagesizes) with these converters. Would that be viable? [this quick check shows that paperhandling stuff/utils in Linux need some robust standardization - or at min some self-consistency/coherency]. -- paolo -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
