Package: vdr Version: 1.4.4-1 Severity: wishlist Hello,
I had a problem concerning the softdevice plugin [ http://www.vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Softdevice-plugin ] While trying to start vdr as daemon from the startup script /etc/init.d/vdr, vdr couldn't access the audio device because user vdr doesn't belongs to group audio by default. (The error message from the vdr-softdevice plugin is missleading because it says device doesn't exists.) Manually adding vdr to goup audio solves the problem. Please add vdr to this group by installation scripts.
