Package: libmail-listdetector-perl Version: 0.34-1 Severity: serious Justification: Policy 2.3
This module includes files which are -to me- clearly non-free: From its POD documentation (in lib/Mail/ListDetector.pm): This module includes a number of sample emails from various mailing lists. In all cases, mails are used with permission of the author, and must not be distributed separately from this archive. The mails in question make up basically all of the module's tests. The solution is basically trivial: Remove t/*, repackage the orig.tar.gz so they are no longer included, and do not run 'make test' while building. I intend to adopt this package, so this bug report should be closed quite soon by myself. Only that the updated package should be allowed in Etch, IMHO :-/ Greetings, -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-lafa Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages libmail-listdetector-perl depends on: pn libemail-abstract-perl Not found. ii libemail-valid-perl 0.15-2 Check validity of Internet email a ii liburi-perl 1.35-1 Manipulates and accesses URI strin ii perl 5.8.4-8sarge5 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
