MyThes 2.0 don't use anymore binary thesaurus files.
You can view the th_it_IT.dat with a text editor.
The th_it_IT.idx is only a index of the .dat file and it is build with
MyThes tool th_gen_idx.pl
This thesaurus can be used only with OpenOffice.org version >= 2.0
