Hello!
Replicating between a i686 and a x86_64 system (or vice versa), unison
will abort like this:
#v+
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~ $ unison -auto ssh://fp/shared/ ~/shared/
Contacting server...
Looking for changes
[...]
Uncaught exception Failure("input_value: integer too large")
#v-
.... and the other way round:
#v+
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~ $ unison -auto ssh://taylor/shared/ ~/shared/
Contacting server...
[...]
from //taylor//home/thomas/shared
to /srv/data/home/t/tschwinge/shared
27% 01:29 ETAUncaught exception Failure("input_value: integer too large")
Fatal error: Lost connection with the server
#v-
`taylor' has the Debian 2.13.16-5 version installed, `fencepost' the
Ubuntu 2.13.16-4ubuntu1 one. Also, trying to run it between the
`fencepost' system and another i686 system with the same Ubuntu version
doesn't work. Running it between the two i686 system works fine.
Upstream bugs off course.
I am not very surprised this kind of bug exist. I must try to package more
recent version of unison, even if it is not considered "stable".
