VLC fails to report the elapsed time when playing `cdda://@1'. Using the `rc' interface, the `get_time' command always returns 0. To reproduce, put an audio CD in your CD player and do as follows: $ vlc -I rc cdda://@1 get_time Note that VLC reports zero no matter how far into the track it is.
