Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this. The end of term is
a busy time!

I suppose that would present two possibilities:

a) Leave the description of NTP as-is and note in the next paragraph
where it says that only a subset of the protocol is implemented that
syncing with local reference clocks is not supported, or

b) Modify the first paragraph in some way to not include a complete
description of the NTP protocol.

I'm not sure which way you'd prefer, as the package maintainer. (a)
seems to leave less possibility of confusion but only if users are sure
to read the whole description. (b) I'm not sure how to do without
leaving in an inaccurate description of NTP or rewriting the whole
description.

If you want to edit the new description to your liking I can look over
it for errors afterward if you want (though I understand that the
original errors weren't yours). Or, you can note your preference and
I'll try my hand at fixing the description again. I'd just like to get
the package a better description than it has now!

Thanks,
Christine
