Package: cyrus-common-2.2 Version: 2.2.13-10 Severity: minor On upgrade, postint runs cyrus-makedirs. The latter says
Creating cyrus control directories in /var/lib/cyrus... Creating partition spool /var/spool/cyrus/mail... Creating partition spool /var/spool/cyrus/news... Trying to optimize Cyrus partitions, edit /etc/default/cyrus2.2 to disable... The "creating parition spool" messages are inaccurate in cases where the spools already exist, and they give the impression that the existing spools are being replaced. Fortunately, they are not. Second, after the cyrus/mail message I always get a very long pause. I guess it's doing something over my large IMAP store. If this step could be skipped, it would save a lot of time. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (990, 'stable'), (50, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-3-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages cyrus-common-2.2 depends on: ii adduser 3.100 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debcon 1.5.8 Debian configuration management sy ii dpkg 1.13.24 package maintenance system for Deb ii exim4-daemon-he 4.63-11 exim MTA (v4) daemon with extended ii gawk 1:3.1.5.dfsg-4 GNU awk, a pattern scanning and pr ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdb4.2 4.2.52+dfsg-1 Berkeley v4.2 Database Libraries [ ii libsasl2-2 2.1.22.dfsg1-8 Authentication abstraction library ii libsnmp9 5.2.3-4 NET SNMP (Simple Network Managemen ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8c-4 SSL shared libraries ii libwrap0 7.6.dbs-11 Wietse Venema's TCP wrappers libra ii libzephyr3 2.1.20010518.SNAPSHOT-17 The original "Instant Message" sys ii netbase 4.27 Basic TCP/IP networking system ii perl 5.8.8-7 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction Versions of packages cyrus-common-2.2 recommends: ii cyrus-admin-2.2 2.2.13-10 Cyrus mail system (administration ii cyrus-imapd-2.2 2.2.13-10 Cyrus mail system (IMAP support) -- debconf information: cyrus-common-2.2/warnbackendchange: cyrus-common-2.2/removespools: false -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
