(and you have a workaround anyway, I've been very permissive on the error checking for that reason, mbpeventd will run even if some modules failed their init) There's a DBus support coming in v1.0, the GNOME stuff can just use that to integrate with mbpeventd and it'll be the best of both worlds. When it comes to these machines, mbpeventd knows better than GNOME.
