As far as I can see we could still include it on the following basis: 1. additional restriction to GPL: I assume for now the copyright holders didn't intend to put an additional restriction on the program - of course, one needs to contact them and wait for at least a few days (or in other words, that part of the bug report is etch-ignorable as soon as they don't say "but we meant"). You contacted them according to your mail today, so I think we are safe there. 2. debian/copyright is incomplete Well, just change debian/copyright. => New upload with that change, as you intend to do. 3. "unresolved API stability". I'm currently not sure what you mean with this - anyways, as long as API changes mean soname changes, we are on the safe side. > Would the FTP masters or release manages have all packages in this > source package removed from testing/etch? As you are the maintainer, I have triggered removal of your package, but for that to happen, xmms2-plugin-faad needs to be dropped first (I also filed a bug against that package). It might be worth to invest the work rather in fixing faad2 however. Cheers, Andi -- http://home.arcor.de/andreas-barth/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
