As far as I can see we could still include it on the following basis:

1. additional restriction to GPL:

I assume for now the copyright holders didn't intend to put an
additional restriction on the program - of course, one needs to contact
them and wait for at least a few days (or in other words, that part of
the bug report is etch-ignorable as soon as they don't say "but we
meant"). You contacted them according to your mail today, so I think we
are safe there.


2. debian/copyright is incomplete

Well, just change debian/copyright.

=> New upload with that change, as you intend to do.


3. "unresolved API stability". I'm currently not sure what you mean with
this - anyways, as long as API changes mean soname changes, we are on
the safe side.

As you are the maintainer, I have triggered removal of your package, but
for that to happen, xmms2-plugin-faad needs to be dropped first (I also
filed a bug against that package). It might be worth to invest the work
rather in fixing faad2 however.
