Yes, KDE is set to use KMail as the default mail client in kcontrol. Amarok just crashed a minute ago, gdb ran (I saw the entry in the process list while the music was still playing), but then Amarok simply disappeared, and created no e-mail. I recall Amarok creating the e-mail in the past, but now it doesn't work.
