Package: pure-ftpd-ldap
Version: 1.0.21-5
OS : Debian Etch
1) In the pureftpd LDAP schema file, it is better to add a " SUP top
AUXILIARY " line, to avoid having a structural class. So, we can mix
inetOrgPerson and pureFTPdUser classes.
2) Just after having installed my pure-ftpd-ldap server, I tried a
simple connexion
The answer was :
Can't exec "/usr/sbin/pure-ftpd": No such file or directory at /usr/
sbin/pure-ftpd-wrapper line 174.
In fact, some scripts want a /usr/sbin/pure-ftpd binary, and some
scripts want a /usr/sbin/pure-ftpd-ldap binary.
The simplest way to solve this issue is to create a hard link: ln /
usr/sbin/pure-ftpd-ldap /usr/sbin/pure-ftpd
Some informations on my configuration :
parallels:/etc/pure-ftpd/db# uname -a
Linux parallels 2.6.18-3-686 #1 SMP Mon Dec 4 16:41:14 UTC 2006 i686
GNU/Linux
