Hi Jochen.

As i don't have any experience with GNU/kFreeBSD, I can't comment or test
your patches. On 5.4, your patch doesn't apply at all any more, the current
state can be found on http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-net-snmp/trunk, but
I have no clue if this compiles at all on kFreeBSD.

It is almost OK, but we already slightly polished our kernel headers
and glibc headers, please for 5.4.x use the attached one.

I'd really like you to address this on [EMAIL PROTECTED]

We have to polish our kernel headers and glibc headers more,
goal should be following include/net-snmp/system/kfreebsd.h:

******************************
#include "freebsd6.h"
#define freebsd6 freebsd6

#include <osreldate.h>
#define __FreeBSD_version __FreeBSD_kernel_version

#include <sys/queue.h>
#include <sys/_types.h>
******************************

Do you think it makes sense to ask upstream to include our preliminary support (kfreebsd.h created by attached patch) or to ask for expected
kfreebsd.h (the above short one) ? Or wait untill we polish our headers ?

Thanks for your comments.

Petr
