f-spot often crashes on my system (this is #403495 in mono, not f-spot's fault). When this happens, it is impossible to restart it until I restart my X server. My guess is that it's advertising the fact that it's running in the X server somewhere; and when it then isn't shut down correctly, this remains behind, preventing f-spot from starting again. Needless to say, this is highly annoying.
