Do you need a full switch to po4a? That's the only proven way to keep
manpages up-to-date, and the usual argument against translated manpages
is that they are never up-to-date. A full patch could help the upstream
maintainer to accept localized manpages.

No problem, we are not in a hurry. I was just cleaning out a bit French
l10n bugs.
