Also, please note that yc-el requires the MULE feature to handle
non-latin characters.  Currently, emacsen with MULE are

  emacs21
  xemacs21-mule
  xemacs21-mule-canna-wnn
  xemacs21-gnome-mule
  xemacs21-gnome-mule-canna-wnn
  emacs-snapshot

(xemacs21-nomule lacks MULE, but it provides emacsen and xemacs21.)
