the method get_next_command() of vboxd.c relies on little endian machines when reading bytes in the int variable c. As a result every attempt to connect to the server results in a time-out. (The plain TCP connect works of course). Changing this variable declaration to "char c;" solved the problem for me on -powerpc (mac). This should do the job on all architectures. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8malph Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages isdnvboxserver depends on: ii debconf 1.4.30.11 Debian configuration management sy ii isdnutils-base 1:3.6.2005-01-03-4 ISDN utilities, the basic (minimal ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii tcl8.3 8.3.5-4 Tcl (the Tool Command Language) v8 -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
