Hi, thanks for your suggestion. However, if you are applying several patches, you should either feed them all at once to patch, or stop after the first patch that fails. I don't think your suggestion would make a useful feature. Unless you can convince me that this change has more benefit than breaking the existing behavior, I'd like to close this bug.
