I've checked a little further. I think the only significant change worth incorporating (with any necessary modifications) are the changes to the cweb.1 manpage, which should be sent upstream too. Also, there should be a request to upstream to mention cweave and ctangle in the texinfo documentation, in addition to the CWEBINPUTS variable.
