Package: fuse-source Version: 2.2.1-1 Severity: normal When building fuse-source normally (using make-kpkg modules_image) it always fails, since rules/debian does not contain a rule for kdist_image.
To reproduce: uninstall module-assistant unpack /usr/src/fuse.tar.bz2 into /usr/src go to your Linux source directory execute make-kpkg --rootcmd fakeroot modules_image Error message: make[1]: *** No rule to make target `kdist_image'. Stop. It would also be helpful if there were build instructions for this package in /usr/share/doc, like most other module source packages. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11.5 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages fuse-source depends on: ii bzip2 1.0.2-5 high-quality block-sorting file co ii gcc [c-compiler] 4:3.3.5-1 The GNU C compiler ii gcc-2.95 [c-compiler] 1:2.95.4-22 The GNU C compiler ii gcc-3.3 [c-compiler] 1:3.3.5-12 The GNU C compiler ii make 3.80-9 The GNU version of the "make" util -- no debconf information -- Jeff Bonham [EMAIL PROTECTED] PGP Public Key ID: BA289747
