Hi,

As you know the problem is this:

acidbase (gpl) -> Image_Graph (lpgl) -> Image_Canvas (lgpl) -> Image_Color
(php 2.02)

* -> means "depends on"

Solutions are:

1) Image_Color changes to PHP 3.01. The new PHP license says that PEAR *is*
PHP (don't know what Debian says about that)
2) Image_Color changes to LGPL

I wrote Andrew Morton (current Image_Color maintainer) about that but he
told me he couldn't do that because he wrote only few pieces of the code and
past maintainers are no longer recheable.

So, I guess you only need to email Andrew and CC to [EMAIL PROTECTED], so
the Pear Group could tell Andrew he is able to freely change the license
(this isn't the first case of a package who changes its license).

Btw, the new Image_Color2 package (php 5 only) is already LGPL.
