reassign 225161 quake2-data retittle 225161 quake2-data: package installation does nothing thank you
confirming this bug. default installation of the quake2-data package does absolutely nothing -- likely because dpkg is telling the package not to talk to the user. proof of this is that using $ dpkg-reconfigure quake2 does what one would expect after the package has been installed. the solution would be to automatically do the dpkg-reconfigure without asking the user a bunch of needless questions. mike
