After looking at it again, I think that was my fault. All the fonts that had mode 0400 were in /usr/share/fonts/truetype/commercial whereas msttcorefonts are in /usr/share/fonts/truetype/msttcorefonts. Unfortunately, I can't remember where that "commercial" directory came from. > I suspect that if this lies with msttcorefonts, it might have to do with > the root user's umask. What umask does root have (run `umask` as root)? root's umask is 0022, so that shouldn't be the source of the problem. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFFetIH1YAhDic+adYRAmWCAKDCgPN6j4x1rlIED6ib2sNM/5Ti8wCfVpjV sN7ufWxVtR7jbV78mITgBWs= =5w/K -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
