Package: backup-manager Version: 0.5.5-7 Severity: wishlist I used my own similar script to do the same this package does, so I am happy to see this packaged in debian as I will not have to maintain my own. One thing I miss is log file. My script logged all backup commands run by script (tar, rsync, split...) the time they started and finished and witch command failed if something went wrong. Then this log was mailed to me.
Could this script do de same? -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (1100, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.10-1-k7 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages backup-manager depends on: ii debconf 1.4.46 Debian configuration management sy ii gzip 1.3.5-9 The GNU compression utility -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
