Can you describe how you experiment the crash? If you run evolution from the command line, do you get a segfault? Could it be evolution-data-server that is crashing? In that case you have to attach gdb to it. Gdb can sometimes have some problems, but usually not the way you describe it. I would try to be 100% sure about which binary is crashing first. And it helps if you can force the crash to happen when you want. Cheers, Øystein Gisnås
