The terminal shows Reading csv data Finished parsing [3]+ Segmentation fault ggobi The data are exported from R with the default write.table. Once I switched to write.csv I was able to create a file that could be read. Although the input is erroneous, crashing seems a bit extreme, particularly in light of this comment on the gobi blog: "csv import should now handle any thing you can throw at it" (Mar 27, 2006 entry at http://ggobi.blogspot.com/). It may be relevant that when I start ggobi the about plugins tab shows the csv reader loaded as FALSE, but active as TRUE. This seems inconsistent to me, but what to I know? The other reader plugin has the same status. The general plugins all show loaded as true but active as false.
