Package: kernel-package Version: 10.065 Severity: normal
I have a laptop without an AT keyboard port, so I configured my kernel without AT keyboard support. Then I ran make-kpkg --initrd kernel-image (worked), and tried to install the resulting package: [EMAIL PROTECTED]> dpkg -i ../linux-image-2.6.19_2.6.19-10.00.Custom_i386.deb Selecting previously deselected package linux-image-2.6.19. Failed to create initrd image. dpkg: error processing linux-image-2.6.19 (--install): subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 9 Errors were encountered while processing: linux-image-2.6.19 Running modprobe manually I got [EMAIL PROTECTED]> /sbin/modprobe -v -n --show-depends --set-version 2.6.19 atkbd FATAL: Module atkbd not found. I don't know why it thinks it needs to add atkbd to the initrd.
