Package: aide Version: 0.8-2
Error message: cp: cannot stat `/var/lib/aide/aide.db.new': No such file or directory
What I did: just installed aide using apt-get and edited "/etc/aide/aide.conf".
i changed the defautl conf paths to something like : database=file:/mypath/aide.db database_out=file:/mypath/aide.db.new
after this is ran /usr/sbin/aideinit and got the error messages.
